Earl Moran probably had more to do with discovering Marilyn Monroe than anybody. He painted pin-ups, hugely popular post war. Anyone who read their dad’s Playboys is familiar with his contemporary, Vargas. Moran’s pin-ups were not overly racy but and they were often girl-next-door letting her hair down (think Marilyn on the subway grate). This is a vintage poster that is era appropriate with the neon.
